Shoppers should check the expiry date on their vouchers to ensure they're still eligible.

Customers can use the Clubcard vouchers, which were first issued in August 2022 and will expire at the end of this month, to lower the cost of their weekly shop, pay for fuel or to pick up a great new deal with Tesco Mobile.

Shoppers can use Clubcard vouchers in-store and online to save money on their Tesco shop.

If you decide to use your vouchers for your Tesco shop, every 150 points can be exchanged to the value of £1.50.

Your vouchers can also be doubled in value to spend at over 100 reward partners including  and Zizzi.

You can also swap vouchers for money off your  bill.

Lizzie Reynolds, Tesco Group membership and loyalty director said: "The summer holidays are an expensive time of year for families, with many people looking to find affordable ways to entertain the kids.

"Clubcard vouchers could go towards everything from a family visit to a theme park to a day out at a castle, so I'd urge Clubcard members to check their vouchers and make sure they don’t miss out."

It comes after shoppers praised the major retailer after it slashed a summer essential by 50 per cent.

Shoppers described the price cut - from £199 to £99.50 - as a "bargain" on social media.

One shopper said: "We have ours three years from Tesco definitely worth it got it in sale too."

And one commented: "It's a bargain as Go Outdoors are £170 for very similar."

Another shopper said: "What size are these please?"

And one said: "Where do I buy these."

Usually, individual stores tend to reduce items like this when they want to clear excess stock - and this means you need to be quick in spotting and bagging the deal.

It is always worth calling your local store before you visit it to ensure the deal is available there and avoid being disappointed.

You can find your nearest Tesco store by using the locator tool on the retailer's website.

It's also always worth comparing prices to get the best deal.

Just because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you - so don't be left paying more than you have to.

Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web.

Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.

Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers.

What can I get with Tesco Clubcard?

TESCO'S Clubcard scheme allows shoppers to earn points as they shop.

These points can then be turned into vouchers for money off food at the supermarket, or discounts at other places like restaurants and days out.

Each time you spend £1 in-store and online, you get one point when you scan your Clubcard.

Drivers using the loyalty card get one point for every two litres spent on fuel.

One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you a £1.50 money-off voucher, for example.

You can double their worth when you swap them for discounts with "reward partners".

For example, £12 worth of vouchers can be swapped for a £24 three-month subscription to Disney+.

Or you can swap 50p worth of points for £1 to spend at Hungry Horse pubs.

Where you can spend them changes regularly, and you can check on the Tesco website what's available now.

Tesco shoppers can also get Clubcard prices when they have the loyalty card.

The discounted items change regularly and without a Clubcard you'll pay a higher price.

These Clubcard prices are usually labelled on shelves, along with the non-member price.

But it's worth noting that just because it's discounted doesn't necessarily make it the cheapest around, and you should compare prices to find the best deal.

You can sign up to get a Tesco Clubcard in-store or online via the Tesco website.

RECLAIM LOST CLUBCARD POINTS

Many people lose or forget to use their Tesco vouchers, but there's an easy way to claw back the last two years of unused vouchers.

Here's exactly how to find out if you have any unused vouchers.

The first step is to log into your Tesco Clubcard account on Tesco.com or via the Clubcard app.

You'll need your name, email address and Clubcard number to hand.

Once you've logged in, navigate to "My Clubcard Account" and then click on "Vouchers" to see a full list of any vouchers you still have to spend.

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use  and  are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone.  app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
