This is £11.25 cheaper than the original price and a 90% off.

A third wrote: "Shame this isn't online, would've snapped this up! Thanks for sharing this."

While a fourth posted: "Thanks for posting - will look out for them when next in store."

Originally the bags were £12.50 in M&S stores and on the Ocado website.

Medium-sized bags are also on offer, reduced from £10 to just £1.

They are described as “leakproof and airtight” as well as being “reusable and dishwasher safe”.

The item is also freezer and microwave-safe and has a two-litre capacity.

M&S BEST BUYS

The bargain reduction seems to be only available in stores - not online.

However do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it's usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so availability will vary from store to store.

It's always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

You can find your nearest M&S store using the locator tool on the website.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you're getting the best deal.

We had a quick browse online and found Dunelm is selling a pack of six PEVA Reusable Bags for £6 - the equivalent of £1 each.

It comes as Marks and Spencer has launched a huge summer sale with prices slashed by up to 50% on items including homeware, clothing and designer beauty products.

Savvy shoppers will be able to find fantastic deals on a range of items from £4.

The sale is across multiple M&S departments including homeware, clothing and designer beauty.

Fans of the brand have already started sharing their delight on social media.

"That's great to hear. I'll pay my local branch a visit in the morning" exclaimed one M&S fan on Facebook

Availability will vary across the country, but most items in the sale are currently available online or in-store.

How to save at M&S

AS the cost of everything continues to spiral, many of us are looking for ways to save at the checkout.

Rather than searching for the yellow labels though, one retail worker has shared a way to guarantee discounts on fruit and veg at one of the UK's poshest supermarkets.

Having worked as a night assistant at M&S, they revealed that the posh supermarket has a secret code which they use when making reductions.

For those looking to bag a bargain, you’ll need to find the pre-packaged produce as this is where you'll find the biggest savings - according to the insider.

Next, you’ll need to look for ‘J Codes’ - which are a seven-digit code that starts with the letter ‘J’.

The insider stated that these can usually be found on the packet where you’d find a best-before date.

Whilst it may look like a random string of numbers to the untrained eye, the M&S worker explained that this code is a sell-by date.

In a post on Wednesday (Jan 31), they wrote: “J Codes are 7 digit codes that you will find on pre-packed fruit and veg (and some loose)… The digits that follow are just a date."

Savvy shoppers can then use this code to work out when produce will be reduced, as he explained.

He added: "So any J code fruit or veg that you find yellow stickered tomorrow morning will say J310124.”

Continuing, the insider told the group: “When it comes to meat, or dairy, or ready meals or anything like that, we reduce the next day's date (i.e., tonight we will reduce anything with 1st Feb on it) but in fruit and veg, we will be looking for anything 31st Jan.”

Not only can this help you find those highly sought-after yellow labels, but shoppers could even find items that haven't been reduced and ask for a discount.

Cheerfully, the M&S worker added: “A little peek behind the curtain, but now you will also know if you find something on the shelf that should be reduced but isn't!"

“It's a rough one out there, gotta make those pennies count however we can!”
