MAKE A DATE: The week features a series of family-friendly events held around the country to encourage people to celebrate and use their local green spaces.

MUSCLE IN: Many parks have free-to-use fitness equipment like pull-up bars, static bikes and parallel bars.

More than 500 outdoor gyms have been installed around the UK in the past ten years.

DIG IN: You can also hang out with others at your local Green Gym.

Run by The Conservation Volunteers, these fun, free volunteering sessions are weekly groups that meet to plant trees, create wildflower meadows and grow food.
