For women, dressing gowns are £10 each and were described as "so soft".

Women's pyjamas are £5.

The range cannot be seen on Poundland's website so it may be a matter of going into your local store to check if they're in stock.

And it appears plenty of Barbie fans are going to.

Responding to the post, a Facebook user tagged a friend and said: "Good prices for the girls."

Another said: "How cute is some of this?"

My 'greige' neighbours are threatening a lawsuit over my pink house - they said it looks 'horrific' but I love it

A third said: "Oh wow thank you for sharing."

Many users tagged their pals in the comments, suggesting a rush to clear the shelves is imminent.

The Barbie brand has been around since the fashion dolls were first introduced in 1959.

Their standing in pop-culture was unmissable in the 1990s with the Aqua song "Barbie Girl" topping charts around the world after its release in 1997.

The Barbie legend took off again last year with the release of the film featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.

The Poundland move comes after Primark put High School Musical PJs on hangers, sending shoppers into a frenzy.
