Aldi shoppers are rushing to buy ‘delicious’ new deep-fried product that combines two iconic treats
DISCOUNTER Aldi has launched a new "delicious" snack which shoppers are flocking to buy.
If you’re a savoury food lover you’re in for a treat, as Aldi's new Hash Brown Fries are proving pretty popular amongst customers.
The product launched in store on 15 July.
The tasty fries are made with shredded potato and are an ideal accompaniment to traditional English breakfasts, a sausage and bean dinner, or even dipped into a spicy salsa for a delicious afternoon snack.
Posting on their Facebook page, the supermarket said: "Why choose one side when you can have both? Will you be trying our NEW Hash Brown fries?!
The post has been liked more than 2000 times at the time of writing, with more than 1000 comments.

Aldi's Hash Brown Waffles proved a huge hit with customers when McDonald's axed its mini waffles back in 2023.
The breakfast favourite item meant you got three waffles per pack, but it was removed from the menu to the disappointment of diners.
Earlier in the year shoppers were raving about Aldi's large bags of Mega Puffs, which were on sale in two different flavours - fiery hot and wickedly cheesy.
The 130g share bags of corn puffs are suitable for vegetarians and are baked, not fried.
They are similar in appearance to Wotsits - so if you’re a fan of melt-in-the-middle crisps, then you’ll need to give these a try.
As well as this, we previously saw bargain hunters rave about a new passion fruit martini cocktail that has landed on shelves.
The Infusionist buy also comes in a Piña Colada flavour - both of which are ready-to-pour cocktails, saving shoppers 21% per bottle compared to Funkin Cocktails.
The exotic tipple costs £7.49 for a 70cl bottle.
Additionally, previously shoppers raced to buy Aldi's authentic Jamaican Patties which sold out in just 48 hours.

The beef patty snack was on sale for just 99p and was made by a father-son duo from Peckham, London, who run their own wholesale bakery, Flake Bake.
In a Facebook post, they wrote: "After the huge success of our Jamaican beef patty selling out in less than 48 hours at ALDI’s nationwide, we are proud to announce that ALDI has 4x their order to 100,000 patties!"
