TESCO Clubcard customers can boost their points by spending money with partners like Ovo Energy, Vauxhall, and Inkjet Recycling.
Typically, shoppers rack up points by spending money at Tesco both online and in store.
You usually get one point for every pound you spend.
The points are then converted into vouchers which give people money off their weekly shop.
Every 100 points is worth £1 when spent this way, but you can double the value by spending the vouchers with other companies that have partnered up with Tesco, offering everything from family days out and money off at leading restaurant chains, to fun experiences.
But there are other ways to gain points, including by spending with partner brands.

The 2,500 Tesco Clubcard points can be turned into £25 of vouchers to be used in store.
They can also be doubled in value, giving you £50 to spend with more than 100 Clubcard Reward Partners.
Esso stations with Tesco Express
At an Esso petrol station with a Tesco Express, you can collect 1 point for every £3 you spend on fuel.
You simply need to present your Clubcard when you pay at the till.
Vauxhall cars
If you buy a new Vauxhall car, you can get 50,000 Clubcard points.
This is worth £500 in Tesco stores and online, but could be worth as much as £1,000 with Tesco’s reward partners.
To get the bonus, you need to buy a new car at your local Authorised Vauxhall New Car Retailer and provide your Clubcard number when you collect your vehicle.
The deal is available across the Vauxhall Passenger Car Range on Private Retail channel orders from 3 June 2024 until 31 December 2024.
However, the offer of 50,000 Clubcard points is above the current maximum standard allowance of 30,000 Clubcard points per collection period.
Tesco says that means you will be unable to request vouchers instantly and all of your vouchers will be delivered in your next Clubcard statement.
The supermarket recommends receiving your statement by email rather than by post to secure the safety of your vouchers.
Halfords Motoring Club premium
If you join Halfords Motoring Club, you’ll get 500 Clubcard points, worth £5 in Tesco or £10 with partners.
However, membership costs £49 per year or £4.99 per month, so this is only a perk worth getting if you were going to join anyway.
The club gives you a free MOT, two free ten-point car checks, 5% off motoring products and services and a £10 welcome voucher, as well as the Clubcard boost.
To get the deal, go to Halfords.com, follow the steps to create your Halfords Motoring
Club Premium membership, go to your Halfords account, select the Tesco banner and enter your Clubcard.
Inkjet recycling
If you use Inkjet cartridges in your printer, then recycling can make you money whilst also helping to save the planet.
You get up to 125 points for each cartridge you recycle.
Recycling envelopes are available in store or within your Tesco ink cartridge pack.
All you need to do is complete the tear off or downloadable slip and place your used ink cartridges into the recycling envelope.
Return the envelope to your local Tesco store and place into the ink cartridge recycling unit.
You can choose to collect up to 125 Clubcard points or donate up to £1.25 to charity.
Evri
You can get Clubcard points every time you send a parcel with Evri, collecting one point for every £1 you spend.
Simply go to Evri and follow the send process, at the basket stage, enter your Clubcard number, check it's correct and see the points you'll collect.
When you complete the order, you’ll get your points.
Tesco products and services
As well as shopping online and in store at Tesco supermarkets, you can also get points through a variety of Tesco financial products and services, as well as at their petrol stations.
The main ones to consider are:
Tesco forecourts
At a Tesco Petrol Filling Station, you can collect 1 point for every 2 litres of fuel you buy.
For Tesco Bank customers, the number of points you collect will also depend on whether you use your Tesco Bank card to collect points for fuel, to pay for fuel, or both.
Tesco Marketplace
Tesco Marketplace offers customers thousands of products from Tesco partners.
That includes companies such as Clair De Lune, Diageo, eBedding, Howley’s Toys, BHS and Petlife.
Even better, if you shop those brands through the Marketplace site, you’ll also rack up Clubcard points.
You get one point for every £1 you spend.
Tesco Mobile
Tesco Mobile customers get one point for every pound spent.
While this is a nice bonus, it’s still important to shop around and make sure you’re getting the best possible deal on your phone and contract.
Tesco Bank Credit Cards
If you have a Tesco Credit Card, you’ll get one point for every £4 you spend.

How to bag a bargain
SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…
Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.
Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.
Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.
Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.
Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.
When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use and are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.
Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.
Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
