Royal Mail unveils collection of Dungeons and Dragons stamps to mark game’s 50th anniversary

Plus, how fans can pre-order them today

DUNGEONS and Dragons fans will be left spellbound by a collection of Royal Mail stamps to mark the game’s 50th anniversary.

Fantasy lovers can pick up 14 illustrations of monsters and heroes that feature in the beloved  pen-and-paper role-playing series.

Fans can pre-order them from the Royal Mail website today.

The US Postal Service has also paid tribute with its own set of stamps.

Earlier this year, Royal Mail released dinosaur stamps including a T.Rex and a Stegosaurus.

The stamps were in collaboration with the Natural History Museum and to also celebrate 19th-century palaeontologist Mary Anning.

David Gold, the director of external affairs and policy at Royal Mail, said: “It is fitting in the week of International Women’s Day that we pay tribute to Mary Anning with four images of some of the fossils she discovered.

“She was one of the greatest fossil hunters of the 19th century, making a major contribution to our understanding of the majestic creatures that roamed the Earth hundreds of millions of years ago.”
