"We think our new range of offers provides exactly that, giving customers the freedom to mix and match or share their favourite menu items and combinations as they choose."

Working out at just £1 each, the offer is an absolute steal.

For example, small fries would normally set you back £1.59 and an apple pie £1.89, though prices can vary depending on your location.

But for those looking to enjoy the meal from the comfort of their home, the deal costs £4 on McDonald's app plus delivery fees.

The biggest saving you can make is if you buy three apple pies Normally this would cost you £5.67 so you're saving £2.67.

If you don't want the same dish, the next best savings is an Apple Pie, small fries and McFlurry.

How to save money at McDonald's

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald's branches could save you some cash on your order.

But you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald's receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Signing up to the My McDonald's app also means that you can keep on top of the latest deals and offers.

Remember to log your date of birth in the app - otherwise, you could miss out on free food or drinks.

Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you're ordering McDonald's to your home too.

A third person wrote: "That would be a right bargain with prices nowadays."

"I'll order the whole menu," joked someone else.

If you're looking to save up even more, Britain's "coupon kid" has revealed how to fully take advantage of the new offer.

The 27-year-old said that Maccies fans shouldn't fork out for the Chicken Sharebox and can instead get the same amount of food through the "three for £3 deal".

Jordon Cox said: "You can get 12 chicken McNuggets for £3, using a new ‘three for £3 deal’ on the app.

"Then buy three Wrap Of The Days, which have two Chicken Selects in each.

"You just need to order without all the contents for six selects.
