A KRISPY Kreme fan collected his doughnuts from a store to find a rude message scrawled on the box: “Enjoy fatty.”
The customer noticed the jibe in pink marker pen only after picking up the pack of six treats.

“You don’t expect it.
“When I pulled him up on it, his face changed and he realised I was being serious.

The customer paid £4.99 for the doughnuts through the Too Good To Go app, which retailers use for left-over food that would otherwise be dumped.

He collected the box of six, which would normally cost £14.99, from the chain’s Gatwick Airport outlet as he headed off on holiday on Monday.
But he was shocked by the message, saying: “I’m not going to eat them all by myself, am I?”
The customer complained to Krispy Kreme saying he would be wary of buying them again.
He said the company offered a voucher and appeared to be taking the complaint seriously.
A Krispy Kreme spokesperson said. “We are grateful to the customer for bringing this to our attention.
“We are in the process of speaking to our colleagues and will fully investigate the complaint as any such instance would clearly fall far short of our high standards.”
