But to the nation's disappointment, the Leicester-based brand's selection of Wotsits, Doritos, French Fries and Monster Munch in one, has been removed from shop shelves for the foreseeable.

Taking to X/Twitter this month, Walkers did a poll asking buyers what unavailable flavour they would bring back.

While many voted for Worcester Sauce, others were quick to say Spicy Mixups.

Walkers responded to one woman: "I miss these too."

Walkers had a range of Mixups on offer - including popcorn flavours.

Disgruntled users craving the spicy crunch were quick to notice they were no longer available before Walkers made the devastating confirmation.

One previously asked: "Why is there a national shortage of Walkers Spicy Mixups!?!"

A second wrote: "What has happened to the Spicy Mixups. Can’t get them anywhere??"

Meanwhile another said: "Do you still make MixUps Spicy flavour? Haven’t seen them in ages!"

The announcement has left crisp fanatics "livid".

One panicked dad joked: "What’s going on with your Spicy Mixups? No stock anywhere and I’ve a daughter who’s livid. HELP!"

In October Walkers axed its hugely popular Worcester sauce flavour and fans claimed "their sandwiches were ruined."

Fans also said goodbye to Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps in November as well as the Beef and Onion flavour.

In December Walkers discontinued its Sensations Regal Lamb and Mint crisps.

Companies can often take items of shelves for good if they are not selling, or to make way for new flavours.

When the manufacturing of a flavour ends, you can often find them on shelves for a little longer after as shops work through selling the remaining stock.

For example, when we checked you can still pick up a 120g bag of the Spicy Mixups fr £1.25 at Asda online.
