Posting on Twitter, Aldi customer Jen said she would "sell her soul" for the ice creams after temporarily struggling to find them.

Jen said: "Hey Aldi - any plans to bring back these soon please? Thank you, hugs and kisses."

It describes the sweet treat as a "vanilla flavour ice cream with chocolate flavour layers specially produced for Aldi".

Shoppers can also buy other ice creams including a 15-pack of Gianni's Family Favourites on Aldi's website.

It comes after Aldi confirmed a "lush" summer favourite has been axed.

The own-brand cider had previously led to legal trouble for German discounter Aldi.

The supermarket giant had been selling the drink between £3.49 and £4.75 across Britain.

Fans have previously described the cider as "lush" in a Facebook group made up of Aldi champions.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store's opening time.

You don't have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and .
