Monster Munch crisps HAVE changed, Walkers admits – after fuming fans say ‘nothing compares to the original’
WALKERS have admitted to changing an iconic Monster Munch flavour leaving fans fuming.
The popular snack maker left crisp lovers gutted after they found out that Flamin' Hot Monster Munch were nowhere to be seen on shelves.
The claw-shaped snack is very popular in the UK and the Flamin' Hot version is one of Walkers' most beloved flavours according to dismayed fans.
One social media user asked on X, formerly Twitter: "What is happening with Monster Munch Flamin' Hot?!
"Cannot be found anywhere only the sweet and spicy variation which cannot compete with the original."
In response to the worried snack enthusiast, the company explained the beloved flavour had simply just had a "makeover".

Walkers confirmed the brand had just been renamed and given a new look.
The brand said: "We have given them a facelift! They are now called Sweet and Spicy Flamin' Hot.
"We'll be sure to pass your comments over to the wider team."
When Monster Munch was first acquired by Walkers in 1995 it offered Roast Beef, Pickled Onion and Saucy flavours.
A spicier alternative - known as Flamin' Hot - was then added to the range and it became a fan favourite.
It comes after Walkers left fans devastated after announcing they have discontinued the “best” flavour.
The crisps brand has confirmed one of its Sensations range of crisps has been axed for good.
Shoppers will no longer be able to get their hands on the Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Sensations.
The spicy treat was launched as part of the company's Crispy Thins range in 2015.
In October Walkers axed its hugely popular Worcester sauce flavour and fans claimed "their sandwiches were ruined."
Fans also said goodbye to Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps in November as well as the Beef and Onion flavour.
And UK crisp lovers were left disappointed to learn that another popular flavour has disappeared from shelves last year.
Walkers confirmed to a snack fan on X that it is no longer making Salt & Vinegar Quavers.
However, Rob Pothier, the company's senior marketing manager for Doritos, was happy with the announcement of a new flavour.
He said in March: "Shoppers are looking for elevated snacking experiences and intense flavours, so we're turning up the heat with this launch.
"We can't wait to bring Extra Flamin' Hot to the UK, and given the response we've already seen worldwide, we're certain shoppers will be just as excited.

"We're sure this new flavour experience will keep shoppers coming back for more."
