Each menu item has the chance of giving you a different prize.
These range from food to massive cash prizes.
When is the deadline to redeem your prizes?
You will have until April 30, 2024, to claim a food prize, McDonald’s merchandise prize or cash prize.

Who owns McDonald’s?
McDonald’s has been a key part of millions of Brit’s lives for decades now.
But who owns the legendary restaurant chain?
McDonald’s has been owned by Kroc, set up by Ray Kroc, since April 1955.
Ray Kroc was an American businessman, who went into partnership with the McDonald brothers in 1955.
McDonald’s made huge changes to its burgers
For the first time in decades, McDonald’s made massive changes to its burger recipe last month.
In a bid to improve flavour and modernise the classic burgers, Maccy’s made the following changes:
- Beef patties – tighter sear on the grill for hotter, sizzling and juicier beef patties for maximum flavours
- Grilled onions – new processes on the girl involve adding white onions on top of patties as they cook for added colour and charred flavour
- Lettuce – fresh lettuce straight from that fridge for a crunchier taste
- Cheese – hotter beef patties will make the cheese more melted, creating a smoother texture
- New buns – buttery, brioche-style recipe and freshly toasted
Looking back on the McRib
The McRib is perhaps the most legendary lost item on the McDonald’s menu.
First launched across the UK in 1981 the cult-classic sandwich only lasted four years.
Despite regular attempts to bring the BBQ item back, the McRib would remain shelved for decades before its eventual return in 2015.
And even that return was brief.
McDonald’s site explains why the sandwich doesn’t appear on their menu.
It says: “Many of our restaurants do not have enough grill capacity to cook pork and beef products at the same time.”

McDonald's launched a new element to the Winning Sips game this year called Bonus Sip.
If a player scans seven digital codes into the app, they will get 1,500 MyMcDonald's Rewards points, or seven Bubbles.
These Bubbles can then be exchanged for another medium cold drink and another chance to play. But you can only do this three times.

However, you have to use up any points accrued from the Winning Sips game before April 31.
What is Winning Sips?
Any customer who buys a selected medium or large drink from McDonald's can peel the sticker on the cup.
Stickers contain either an Instant Win prize or App Play game piece.
Instant Win pieces provide either a food or cash prize.
You can claim food prizes in-app or at your nearest McDonald's restaurant.
Cash prizes can be claimed online by following instructions on the game piece.
If you don't get an Instant Win prize, you will receive a code you can use to play on the McDonald's app again.
Any app codes received and entered into the app see you awarded with a "Bubble".
Remembering the Chicken Legend
The Chicken Legend played a central role in the McDonald’s menu for over a decade after its introduction in 2007.
The sandwich was made up of a breaded chicken breast on rye with mayo and lettuce.
The popular item was dumped in 2020, however, and eventually replaced by the McCrispy burger.
It’s safe to say fans miss the sandwich, with foodies launching #BACKTHELEGEND on X.
How do I get McDonald’s delivered?
There are a few ways you can get your favourite burger delivered to your door.
McDonald’s works with Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat for deliveries.
Bear in mind that if you are ordering online you will pay a delivery charge on top of your order.
This usually depends on how far away from the restaurant you are.
All you need to do is enter your postcode on your chosen app to see if McDonald’s delivery is available to you, as some areas aren’t included at all.
You can also order food through the My McDonald’s app.
It can be downloaded via the App Store or Google Play, and it doesn’t cost extra to click and collect.
What time does McDonald’s open?
McDonald’s branches are open 24 hours a day in certain locations, but that is not guaranteed in all, so it’s best to check first.
If you are not sure where your nearest branch is you can use the store locator tool on the McDonald’s website.
Larger restaurants are usually located at service stations, travel spots and retail parks with longer opening hours.
Whereas restaurants that are located on the high street may shut earlier at midnight, or even 10pm.
If your local isn’t open 24 hours, it might open at 5am or 6am for breakfast service.
How do I enter my app code?
You can enter your app game piece code on the McDonald's app.
Unfortunately players can not enter codes through their website.
You can scan the code from your game piece by allowing the app access to your camera.
Alternatively, you can manually enter the 12-digit code.
