Greggs closed updates — Multiple stores forced to shut after ‘IT glitch’ as customers left furious

GREGGS customers have been left furious this morning after an “IT glitch” forced multiple stores to close.

Dozens of customers have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share their shock this morning after discovering the Greggs store closures.

Pastry lovers across the country – including in Newcastle, Westminster, Cardiff – have been up in arms this morning.

One person wrote: “Why are all the Greggs closed?”

A statement from Greggs said: “We are currently experiencing issues accepting payments in our shops.” It added: “We are working to resolve this as soon as possible.”
