GREGGS customers across the country were fuming today as they struggled to get their hands on their morning fix due to a problem at the tills.
The pastry giant was this morning said to have been hit by an IT glitch - seeing stores nationwide forced to close their doors.
The mass meltdown comes just days after two major supermarkets were hit with a major IT wipeout.
Dozens of Greggs customers this morning took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their shock.
Pastry lovers across the country - including in Newcastle, London and Cardiff - were left up in arms.
One person wrote: "All my local Greggs stores are closed because of technical issues, missing my morning coffee."

Another said: "Tills down Greggs - awful start to the day."
Others opened up about the odd experience they'd had as they tried to nab their pastry and coffee.
One person: "Any reason why the Burlington street branch in chesterfield is closed this morning?
"Staff are inside but shutters down and no signs of opening and no sign displayed to explain why?!"

Another said: "Weird experience in Greggs Lewisham just now.
"System down, so they couldn't take a card payment. They wouldn't take cash either.
"Bizarrely, though, I was told I could still order via Uber. Hello? I'm in the shop in front of you! Not impressed."
One store in Fargate had a sign on the windows that read: "Our tills are down and we don't know when they will be fixed.
"We are very sorry for the inconvenience."
A Sheffield store had a makeshift sign up, too.
It said: "Oh crumbs.
"We currently have an issue with out tills which means we can't take cash or card payments right now.
"Our IT colleagues are working hard to get the issue sorted as soon as they can.
"We're really sorry for any inconvenience caused."
Greggs this morning confirmed it was having issues - and working to find a quick fix.
We expect the issue to be fully resolved shortly.

By 11am, a spokesperson said stores were opening again.
They said: “We have now resolved the technical issue that affected tills in some of our shops earlier this morning.
"The majority of shops affected are now able to take card and cash payments again and we expect the issue to be fully resolved shortly.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused to our customers.”
The latest IT problem comes just days after Tesco was hit with a tech breakdown on Saturday - hours after Sainsbury's was swamped with similar issues.
It forced the supermarket to cancel some home deliveries.
Tesco did not specify how many customers or which regions are affected.
A spokesperson said: “We are working to fix a technical issue which has meant we have had to cancel some online orders that were due for delivery.
"We’re sorry for the inconvenience.”
I rely on twice weekly supermarket deliveries due to my disabilities. I can’t manage big shops in supermarkets.
Zoe, from Gloucestershire
One disabled woman told The Sun that she found about her cancelled delivery in an email, but it didn't tell her why.
Zoe, from Gloucestershire, suffers from chronic fatigue and long Covid and so relies on home deliveries to feed her family.
She said: "I’m going to have to get someone to pop to local shops for essentials to last my family until Monday night or use up today’s energy to go out. I’m a disabled single parent carer.
"I rely on twice weekly supermarket deliveries due to my disabilities. I can’t manage big shops in supermarkets."
It came just hours after Sainsbury's cancelled thousands of home deliveries and contactless payments collapsed following an overnight software update.
Argos and Habitat - which have concessions inside Sainsbury's supermarkets - were also impacted.
A Sainsbury's spokesperson said the supermarket's IT systems were back up and running by 4.30pm on Saturday.
Hilton Lord said the store in Warlingham, Surrey, descended into chaos as staff warned motorists of the IT failure as they arrived in the car park.

He told The Sun: "The end result was a massive tailback, as cars waited to get in and blocked the traffic going straight on.
"Inside, the cash-only service points were working, but not the card-only ones."
'I work in Greggs & there’s a specific item we can’t stand customers ordering'
BY CHLOE MORGAN
FROM hot sausage rolls to custard caramel doughnuts, Greggs treats are loved by foodies up and down the country.
But according to one Greggs employee, there's one specific item staff can't stand customers ordering - so, are you guilty of ruining their day?
In a post shared to , the anonymous member of staff started a thread saying: "I work at Greggs reply with any questions you want to know."
And it wasn't long before intrigued social forum users took full advantage of the offer and raced to the comments section to ask away.
"Is there any product you hate hearing ordered?" asked one.
The staff member gave a very particular answer, before offering a valid reason as to why.
"Cheese and onion pasties they always burst in the oven where we always have to remake them," they said.
