A single box of "the crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate" scans for only 10p, making it £2.15 cheaper than the retail price of £2.25.

The chocolate treats are "ideal for ice cream, hot chocolate and the decoration of desserts and cakes", penned the seller.

Meanwhile, another savvy bargain hunter found boxes of Flakes containing a whopping 144 bars - for just £6.99.

Irish supermarket slashes price of major Cadbury bargains to just 99 cent

The eagle-eyed shopper shared his discovery on a similar Facebook group.

Referring to the packaging on the box which said: “For ice cream and culinary use” one person jokingly posted: “Rude to assume they put for ice cream use, I could single handily eat 144 flakes.”

Another chocolate lover added: “More the merrier, any decent person can manoeuvre their way through a box of those within a time scale of less than half an hour. Best chocolate treat ever created by far.”

And, a third agreed: “I could demolish this box easy!”

Meanwhile, AsdaMorrisons and Tesco are all selling a multipack of four flakes for £1.65, according to Trolley.co.uk.

Sainsbury’s is also matching that with its Nectar price, otherwise it is 20p more expensive.

The supermarket giant is also selling a single, seemingly larger, Cadbury flake for 75p.

It comes as shoppers are also desperate to bag a classic chocolate which has been slashed in price.

Plus, Aldi is currently offering the cheapest selection of Cadbury creme eggs, which are priced at £2.25 for a 200g box.

And, choccy fans have been left "dribbling at the mouth" after a Tesco discounted the price of the UK's second favourite chocolate.

The Galaxy Smooth Milk bar has had its cost halved in stores - grab them while you can.

Elsewhere, fans were excited after Nestle launched a brand-new chocolate just ahead of Easter.

The new treat, called the Nestle Aero share-a-bubble, comes in a choco hazelnut flavour - and shoppers claim it tastes just like Nutella.
