IF you're thinking of stocking up on Cadbury Easter eggs there are plenty of retailers selling them on the cheap this week.

The festive holiday doesn't have to cost an arm and leg, especially if you plan ahead and pick up the best deals in good time.

We've rounded up the cheapest supermarkets to buy Easter eggs this week

A number of retailers have already started stocking up on Easter eggs so you can buy now and save yourself aggro down the line.

From Asda to Sainsbury's, Tesco to Morrisons, here's the cheapest places to buy them this week.

Of course, always shop around when buying something like this as you might find it cheaper than we could.

Websites like Trolley and the Google Shopping tab are two quick ways you can compare prices on thousands of products, like Easter eggs.

Plus, remember that prices can change from one day to the next and some might go on offer, so you might find the below cheaper or more expensive later on in the week.

Asda - Dairy Milk Twirl 241g - £4.50

Asda is the cheapest place we found selling this Dairy Milk Twirl Easter egg.

The 241g pack comes with an egg inside and smaller milk chocolate and orange bars as well.

The retailer also currently has an offer on where you can buy two of the egg sets for £8, making for a £1 saving.

Meanwhile, Morrisons and Tesco are both selling the egg for £5.

The retailer has a four for £10 offer on as well, which could see you save £2.

Tesco also has the same egg for £3 though if that's your preferred supermarket.

You'll want to head to Tesco to pick up this Dairy Milk Freddo egg selling for £1.20 - but that's only if you've got a Clubcard.

Otherwise, you'll have to pay £1.50.

It also comes with a selection of Freddo faces inside you can munch on after the egg is done.

Asda and Sainsbury's customers can also pick up the egg for £1.25 while it's £1.50 at Iceland.

Asda also has a two for £8 offer giving you a £1 saving, while the next cheapest supermarkets to buy the box are Morrisons and Tesco.

Tesco is the cheapest place to buy this Mini Easter egg set, which comes in at £1.20 for Clubcard customers and £1.50 for those without one.

Sainsbury's and Asda are the next cheapest places to grab it for £1.25.

Morrisons is also selling it for £1.50 in case that's your nearest supermarket.
