I ‘won’ £1million but ended up with NOTHING after girlfriend made unforgivable blunder – it made me sick
A LOTTO player has missed out on becoming a millionaire after his girlfriend changed their usual lucky numbers.
Jacob Simon, 32, admitted he and Chantelle Avossa, 29, fell out after she changed his lotto numbers to a lucky dip.
His normal pick would've seen the pair become instant millionaires securing a whopping £7.5million shared with six other winners in the EuroMillions jackpot.
But without warning, nurse Chantelle - mum to their three-year-old son - swapped the numbers because they had not brought any luck all year.
The dip won nothing.
Until Chantelle changed their numbers, the pair had chosen 14, 20, 27, 34, 38 and lucky stars 2 and 11 - a year before the draw.

All of them apart from number 2 came up and the Lotto app's game history showed they had stuck with those numbers until the week of the draw.
The draw which took place in 2020 had a record £175million up for grabs.
Plasterer Jacob, of Leicester, said: "I feel sick.
"The more I think about it the more I can’t believe it.
"We haven’t slept at all.
"We’ve fallen out a bit."
Jacob said he wasn't watching the draw and thought his girlfriend was joking when she told him their numbers were drawn and she'd changed them at the last minute.
"I thought she was joking.
It didn’t sink in until later," he added.
"I’m happy it wasn’t multi-millions, that would have been absolutely galling.
"You’re not losing anything if you’ve never had it in the first place but it was a nice dream.
"I could’ve been a millionaire."
