Both of the sweet treats will be available from February 7, just in time for Valentine's Day.

The KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie will be launching in all UK and Ireland restaurants, at drive-thrus and via home delivery apps.

If you want to try these additions, don't hang around because they will only be on menus until March 12.

The Sun was invited for an exclusive tasting of the new treats before the official launch.

The KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry combines soft dairy ice cream swirled with the Ruby Chocolate-covered KitKat pieces and wafer bites.

It's then topped with a pink raspberry sauce.

As the cold weather continues, a warmer treat is also on offer.

The new Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie is a crispy pink pastry filled with a smooth white chocolate ganache and raspberry compote.

But how do the desserts taste? We were keen to find out.

The McFlurry looks unlike any other of the chain's previous ice creams - the distinctive pink sauce made it look particularly appetising.

I tried McDonald’s ‘spiciest ever’ burger made with Frank’s RedHot sauce and I’d choose it over the original any day

On the first scoop, it tasted just like the classic flavour raspberry ripple, a personal favourite from childhood.

The KitKat wafer chunks were a welcome addition, adding a tasty crunch to each mouthful.

Not only that but the Ruby chocolate pieces added even more texture to the treat.

I didn't get the chance to try the chocolate bar when it hit shelves in 2018 so it was a totally new flavour for my taste buds.

The pieces of chocolate are made from ruby cocoa beans, which have a berry-fruitiness taste to them.

Combined with the sweet sauce and the iconic Maccies ice cream, the McFlurry is a tasty mixture.

I found it difficult to put the carton down and easily could have finished the entire dessert.

Next up was the pie, which I was excited to try and it was unlike any of the other pies McDonald's has run in the past.

Fans of the axed Chocolate Pie or Toffee Apple Pie, and the soon-to-be-axed Galaxy Caramel Pie will no doubt be excited to give it a try.

Each of the previous treats has been largely milk chocolate or caramel-based, so the Raspberry and White Chocolate pie was an intriguing idea.

I was not disappointed - the crunch after one bite was the first indication I was in for a treat.

The ganache is sweet and fruity, plus the white chocolate brought a creamy texture as well.

Combined with the crunchy casing, it was a warming dessert, perfect for the colder months.

You'll be able to pick up the new McFlurry for £2.19, or for £1.59 as a mini - while the pie will cost £1.99.

What else is being added to the menu?

It is set to be a bumper week for new Maccies additions, with several other items hitting menus on February 7 too.

Maccies breakfast lovers will be buzzing to know the Breakfast Wrap is also making a comeback.

The fast food giant exclusively revealed to The Sun that the beloved item will once again grace its morning offering.

Foodies have been crying out for the wrap to make a comeback since it was cut from menus.

The wrap will be served all morning until 11am, when it then switches over to lunchtime and dinner food.

If you're on the fence about giving it a go, we've already tried it so have a look at our review video.

If you're not a fan of Ruby KitKats, there will also be a classic KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry.

This is a combination of milk chocolate KitKat pieces and wafer bites and chocolate sauce.

You'll be able to pick up the milk choc McFlurry for £2.19, or £1.59 as a mini - the pie will cost £1.99.

The fast-food giant is giving its McSpicy a major spice upgrade with the help of Frank's RedHot mayonnaise.

The Sun was invited for an exclusive tasting of the new dish to see if it lives up to its reputation.

Maccies fans will pay £5.59 for just the burger and £7.29 as part of a meal, which includes fries and a drink.

The beloved Big Tasty and the Big Tasty with bacon are both back as well.

Each time the burgers make a comeback, they're a huge hit, with many calling for them to be made permanent.

They contain a beef patty, melty cheese made with Emmental, tomato, lettuce, onions and iconic Big Tasty sauce.

For those of you looking to upgrade your dinner, you can also bag the burger with bacon too.

They'll cost £7.69 for the classic and £8.49 with bacon.

Also back again are Mozzarella Dippers, which come in a pack of three or as a sharebox of nine, are each coated in breadcrumbs and served with salsa dip.

They will cost £2.39 for a pack of three and £6.49 for a sharebox.
