The four-bedroom property is set in spectacular countryside and situated in one of North Wales’ most-desirable postcodes, according to the estate agent, which includes the rural village of Marford.

It could attract the interest of Wrexham fans as the city is in easy reach and ideal for supporters who want to cheer on Hollywood movie star owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side as they continue to storm up the football league.

Anyone wanting to celebrate or drown their sorrows depending on the League Two side’s performance, also has a wide choice of country pubs in the area for a pint or two.

Nature lovers might also be attracted to the house as there are also a number of outdoor activities available, including walks in the north Wales Wildlife Trust-run Marford Quarry close by.

Anyone security conscious can rest assured as there is CCTV fitted.

There’s also a cinema room for watching your favourite movies.

Underfloor heating has been installed throughout the property.

Even from just the outside the property is eye-catching, featuring its distinctive gothic-style windows which are set against a crisp white render.

Inside the rooms are showroom standard, tastefully decorated with stunning interiors and the home made it into an issue of Homestyle magazine.

In 2022, it appeared on the popular BBC Cymru Wales property show Wales' Home of the Year as one of the contenders from the north Wales region.

Head judge on the programme and Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans said of the property: "It's a stunning detached house with those gorgeous gothic style windows, and the shape of those continue throughout inside with cute doorways and a stunning modern kitchen!".

Beechmount, which was previously known as Marford Cottage, was originally constructed as a farmhouse, alongside a local pub and a number of workman’s cottages, in Gothic Revival style, as part of Trevalyn Estate.

Chester, over the border in England, is not too far away either which also gives access to more shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The city is also home to the award-winning independent schools of King's and Queen's which are some 15 minutes away.

Beechmount is on the market for offers more than £900,000 with estate agent Currans Unique.
