Named Lacura, the moisturisers and gel serums were announced on Wednesday in an Instagram Reel by the supermarket.

They were stocked in shops by 8am Thursday - Lacura’s Moisturising Cream was just £3.99.

Aldi has previously sold the Lacura dupe and other including Weleda and Elemis.

One shopper commented: "All gone from Aldi in Burnley."

A third said: "The Dagenham store was completely empty on Thursday."

Some fans reported finding them in store, but many commented that they had appeared on eBay for twice the price.

Fans demanded that the limited editions become a permanent fixture in the store.

One fan said: "There is no point selling something that you can only buy once or twice a year.

"People want consistency in their skin care regime, not a bit of this and a bit of that."
