CADBURY fans are only just realising an "amazing" chocolate has been discontinued - and they are "gutted".

Shoppers have been left screaming "whaaat why!" after noticing Dairy Milk Marvellous Mix-ups with Oreo have been axed from shelves.

Cadbury confirmed one its chocolates was discontinued years ago

The sweet snacks came in bitesize portions, combining classic Cadbury chocolate with iconic Oreo pieces.

Commenting on the , a number of shoppers pointed out they were culled years ago, but others said they had only just realised.

One foodie said: "Whaaaaaat why? These were the only ones I could eat (me having Autism spectrum disorder). I looooved these."

Meanwhile, a second fuming fan said: "These were soooooooo nice wish they still did them."

A third nostalgic shopper said: "They were AMAZING," while a fourth added: "I used to be obsessed."

A Cadbury spokesperson confirmed the chocolates were discontinued "several" years ago, but did not say exactly when.

They added: "We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and our business."

It's not the first time Cadbury fans have been left reeling over a discontinued product.

In November, the chocolatier confirmed it had axed Peanut Caramel Crisp Bars to customer anger.

One fumed: "Cadbury's Peanut Caramel Crisp is the best chocolate bar they have created in years."

Meanwhile, another added: "Aw no! That sucks, it's our favourite."

The month before, foodies were left irate after Cadbury quietly ditched its 30% less sugar bar, just four years after launch.

The lower calorie option, which first hit shelves back in 2019, was dropped due to low demand, Cadbury said.

And B&M shoppers were left disappointed after discovering a chocolate bar they thought had made an epic return, had in fact not.

In other retail news, supermarket giant Co-op has axed its points scheme in a move branded "sickening".

Plus, Sainsbury's is set to close its banking business as part of plans to put "food first".
