My dad won £66k but I scooped DOUBLE in Postcode Lottery after forgetting crucial detail – here’s how I’m spending it
A FATHER and son have won the People's Postcode Lottery despite neither of them knowing the other one played.
Grant and Paul Bowyer were shocked to find they had scooped up nearly a total of £200,000.
However, IT worker Grant, 32, was left speechless after he found out that he had won £133,332 - double what his father won.
Grant from Reading said: "Neither of us knew that the other played until we got the phone call.
"I'd forgotten that I had two tickets. I expected to get the same as my dad."
He added: "I'm shocked."

"I said to everyone to expect the lowest amount and anything else would be a bonus."
"Dad was similar to me, that whatever it was would be great. But to see that kind of money!"
Grant's dad was equally stunned by his winnings as "he didn't even know" his son played.
Paul, 56, is a grandad-of-three and recently gave up work to care for his wife.
He couldn't believe his luck when he found out he was £66,666 richer than before.
Paul who is also a dad of four will be looking to use the money to go on a lovely holiday with his wife.
He said: "I started doing Postcode Lottery straight away after my mum won.
"The first thing is, we'll go on holiday."
Paul added: "But there is one car that I want to get again - a Ford Granada."
"I've got three of them already.
"It's one more to add."
Grant who currently lives with Paul and his mum hopes to use the money to move in with his girlfriend.
He said: "I had a conversation with my nan after she won three years ago and I started playing after that.
"I want to buy a house with my girlfriend and maybe get a nice holiday somewhere next year."
Grant was ecstatic for his dad who he says "never has luck with anything".
He said: "I'm chuffed for my dad. It's great for him to get this win.
"He and my mum can go on holiday now by themselves and enjoy it more."
