The health retailer will pull the store's shutters down for good on December 27.

The nearest available store in the area will soon be the Holland and Barret Dundee Overgate store, approximately 0.4 miles away.

The news is a tough blow for the community as the area has seen a string of closures from high street retailers including Zara, Game, Clarks and Disney.

Locals took to Facebook to share their disappointment at hearing the news with many blaming the closure on an increase in online shopping.
