How much are the Dinosaur 50p coins worth?
Given that the coins have just been announced by the Royal Mint, they are unlikely to be worth more than they cost until they're released.
However, there are a number of limited edition versions of each coin that vary in shape, size and colour - and therefore price.
The first collectable 50p coin available to buy is the one featuring the tyrannosaurus, with prices starting from £11 for a standard Brilliant Uncirculated Coin.
If you want one with colour, of which there are only 15,000, then it will cost you £20.

Just 500 of the Silver Proof Coins have been made and one will cost you £60, while one of the 5,000 coloured versions will cost you £70.
If you want to go all out, then you'll have to fork out £1,220 for one of the 50p Gold Proof Coins, of which just 100 have been made.
When will the other two coins go on sale?
With the tyrannosaurus coin already released, coin experts are eager to add the stegosaurus and the diplodocus to their collection.
However, no specific details of their release have been revealed, other than that they will come out in 2024.
But the Royal Mint are offering the option of securing all three Dinosaur 50p coins at once - although each coin will be dispatched at its individual launch date.
Individual payment for each coin is also taken when the coin is released, with all prices staying the same.
The same is also being done for the limited edition versions, which are expected to sell out quickly.
Customers who opt for this option will also receive a cardboard collector's case in which to store the coins.
