B&M agreed to buy up to 51 Wilko locations in a £13million deal back in September.

The chain is rebranding the now empty shops as B&Ms.

However, it won't confirm a full list of expected openings.

But now two shops and their locations have been revealed.

The first of which is an ex-Wilko store in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

B&M is taking over the collapsed chain's former unit in The Galleries Shopping Centre, it has confirmed to The Sun.

No official opening date has been confirmed so far.

A second lease has also been secured at The Guildbourne Centre in Worthing, Sussex.

Work is said to be getting started now and the shop is hoped to be finished by February or March.

The news comes after Poundland also revealed this week that it is set to open its 64th Wilko takeover shop this weekend.

Wilko collapsed into administration back in August before a host of possible buyers expressed an interest.

But sadly, a buyer for the whole business couldn't be found and it was announced all 400 shops would close by October.

Wilko's last remaining sites shut for good on Sunday, October 8.

A flurry of rivals bought a handful of stores, as well as B&M.

Among those was , which purchased 71 Wilko stores.

Dozens have reopened under the Poundland name earlier this month, with more set to follow.

In September, administrators confirmed they had agreed the sale of the retailer’s brand name to The Range in a £5million deal.

As part of the agreement, which also includes Wilko's intellectual property, 36 jobs were saved as the employees transferred over.

In a surprise announcement last month The Range revealed it was bringing brick-and-mortar Wilko shops back to the high street too.

So far it has swung open the doors of two new shops.

There are also plans for three further shops to open by Christmas.

The stores welcomed queues of returning Wilko customers eager to get their hands on their much-loved products.

The two store openings will be closely followed by Luton on December 8 with more locations to be announced imminently.

The Range founder, Chris Dawson said up to 300 stores could reopen on Britain's high streets.

Plus, a major high street bargain shop with 215 locations is set to close all stores for two days over Christmas this year.
