We scooped life-changing Postcode Lottery prize – every penny is already spent thanks to my wife’s habits
AN ARMY veteran has scooped a life-changing £58,000 with the Postcode Lottery - and his wife has already figured out how to spend every penny.
David and his wife Beverly were ecstatic to find out they had won the whopping prize when Peterborough was made a millionaire's street.
David wants to use his winnings to go on an all-expenses luxury family holiday - but David's wife is an accountant and will have a strong say in what the money will be spent on.
David said: "Bev is an accountant so every penny of this is already accounted for.
"I'm sure I'll be told what I'm doing with it very soon."
He added: "Family holidays are most definitely on the cards. We have a favourite resort in Madeira, and I think a couple of weeks of all-expenses luxury is definitely in order.

David said: "We got back in contact through social media and then met up. I married her 11 years ago and we've been lucky enough to be blessed with a 10-year-old daughter. I've got two grown-up children who live in Scotland too.

The couple were not the only lucky residents to receive a whopping prize.
Lorry driver Tony at first thought it was a prank call and completely ignored it before realising he had won £58,000.
The prize money has been described by them as 'life-changing' by Tony and his wife Karen who has been on the waiting list for a hip operation for two years.
The pair are now planning for their trip of a lifetime to Canada, Karen said: "We would both love to go to Canada, it's somewhere we've always wanted to go and travel around."
Tony later added: "Hire an RV and off we go! I still can't believe this is real."
Melissa another lucky resident also plans to use her winnings to travel with her husband John.
The couple are coming up to their 25th wedding anniversary and are looking to travel to New York as well as a fancy new kitchen.
However, John has a simpler of getting a full feast from the local takeaway.
He said: "We might even get a Chinese - I'll be having my usual chicken omelette, chips, sweet and sour chicken balls and spare ribs."
