ALDI has teased shoppers with a new trailer for its Christmas advert - but Kevin the Carrot is nowhere to be seen.
The beloved character has featured in the discounter's Christmas campaign for the past six years, and many fans are expecting his return for 2023.
But Kevin doesn't appear in Aldi's teaser advert leaving some viewers worried he might have been given the chop.
In the Willy Wonka-themed trailer, viewers are introduced to new characters, who shoppers have dubbed the "Plumpa Loompas".
The lyrics to their song Have we got a Christmas cracker for you? appear on the screen, with the cute fruits guiding you through the words so you can sing along.
It's set to the tune of The Oompa Loompa song from the original 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory film, starring Gene Wilder.

Aldi fans have rushed to comment on the teaser, with many of them asking about the whereabouts of Kevin.
Writing on Facebook, one worried shopper asked: "Where's Kevin? Is he returning or is that the end of him?"

While another simple said: "KEVIN?!"
On Twitter, one fan wrote: "You have to make room for Kevin!"
But all might not be lost for Kevin fans, as Aldi replied to the fan saying: "Keep your eyes peeled" alongside a carrot emoji.
Sticking with the Willy Wonka theme, Aldi has also teased the launch of Christmas dinner bubble gum and an everlasting stuffing ball.
It's also revealed a lickable wrapping paper that comes in three flavours - turkey and stuffing, Christmas pudding and Brussels sprouts.
Aldi shared the news of its new products in an email to customers with the caption: "Something bonkers is coming...".
It's not clear at this stage if the real, or if they're just a teaser feature for its Christmas campaign.
Last year, the discounter's Christmas advert was a nod to festive film Home Alone.
It followed the character Kevin battling burglars after being left alone when the rest of his family went abroad.
Aldi isn't the only supermarket getting in on the Christmas action.
