Shoppers are rushing to buy Quality Street tubs for just £3.99 – and they’re the cheapest around
SHOPPERS are racing to get their hands on Quality Street chocolate tubs which are down to £3.99 in one of the UK’s cheapest supermarkets.
Aldi is selling the Christmas favourite 600g tub of Quality Street chocolates for 11 % off.
Many shoppers pointed out the deal paled in comparison to last year, mainly due to the size of the tubs being sold.
One user said: “In case anyone was wondering. Last year's price was usually £3.50 for 600g. So it's up a fair bit but not horrendous. Although I'm sure these were £4 last Tuesday in Aldi instore.”

Another said: “The yearly how much have the tubs shrunk comment. At least the promos are still coming in at £4. Maybe some 2 for £7 to come?”
“It's to keep them to a price point. The bigger tubs are still available but few people buy them. At around £5 they're an easy impulse buy,” argued a third shopper.
And it doesn't look like shoppers are making this up.
The Sun did an investigation last year to figure out whether Christmas chocolates have been shrinking over the past decade.
The Sun found Quality Street tubs contain roughly 48 fewer chocolates per box now, compared with the end of the last financial crisis.
However, that doesn't mean that the current Aldi deal isn't a bargain.
By comparison, Asda is selling the same 600g tub for 50p more at £4.50.
Tesco’s Quality Street tub is going for £5 online, while Sainsbury's is selling the same tub for a much pricier £5.50.
Nestle recently revealed they were switching things up bringing back a Quality Street fan favourite last seen in chocolate tubs over two decades ago.
The chocolatier has revealed its coffee creme flavour will make a welcome return ahead of Christmas.
If you're not a fan of Quality Street Aldi has also got a deal on Celebrations too.
You can currently nab a 600g tub of Celebrations for £4.49 instead of £4.99.
The has a supermarket price comparison feature that will compare prices across all major supermarkets including stores like Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Aldi.
In other news, shoppers flocking to buy hazelnut spread from Asda and people say it’s just like discontinued Morrisons favourite.
