Quality Street is making a change to two iconic flavours – will you notice the difference?

QUALITY Street is shaking things up this Christmas by making a change to two iconic flavours.

The brand's famous tubs are a popular choice for chocolate fans over the festive season.

And to mix things up this year Quality Street has changed the shape of two of its iconic flavours - The Purple One and Orange Crunch.

For a limited time only both chocs will be in the shape of the Caramel Swirl - another popular choice for Quality Street fans.

This chocolate is one of the rounder ones, which features a swirly pattern, and is covered in a gold wrapper.

While The Purple One has more of a dome or oval shape and the Orange Crunch is in the shape of a hexagon.

Both treats will be now be shaped like the caramel swirl but still in their purple or orange wrapping so choc fans will be able to tell which is which.

Both will only be available for a limited time only so you'll have to keep an eye out for them.

The new shaped purple ones will only feature in The Purple One chocolate bags.

While the new orange crunch shape will be in Quality Street tubs.

They won't replace the caramel crunch so if that one is your favourite then you needn't worry.

The price of tubs featuring the new shaped sweets will remain the same.

However, not all tubs will include the new Orange Crunch shapes so you'll need to make sure you're looking out for them.

Jemma Handley, senior brand manager for Quality Street, said: “We are trialling a different shape for two of our sweets this Christmas season.

"We know how iconic Quality Street sweets are and we have made sure that it is the same great tasting Purple One and Orange Crunch that people know and love inside their iconic coloured wrappers."

Quality Street has been making a few changes to its tubs lately.

In September, the chocolatier revealed its coffee creme flavour will make a welcome return ahead of Christmas.

The sweet treat will be available inside Quality Street's festive cracker and advent calendar this year.

You'll only be able to pick the calendars and crackers up in Waitrose and John Lewis.

John Lewis also brought back its pick 'n' mix stands last Christmas to the delight of Christmas shoppers.
