Asda reveals Christmas food menu including spiced rum mince pies and truffle pigs in blankets
ASDA has unveiled its Christmas menu and customers can snap up spiced rum mince pies and parmesan and truffle pigs in blankets.
Shoppers can even pick up one of the items already and stock up well ahead of the festive period.
For the first time ever, Asda has launched its first signature flavour - brown butter and spiced dark rum.
The flavour runs through a number of the festive food items ,including brown butter and spice dark rum mince pies and a slow cooked turkey with dark rum and brown butter stuffing.
There's something for all palates and preferences too, with 57 new vegan and 35 new free from products included in the range.
Customers will be able to pick up no-meat turkeys, mushroom pigs in blankets and smoky aubergine bacon.

It comes as Asda announced it is releasing its first Christmas online delivery slots from October 3, if you are a Delivery Pass member.
Any other customer can book from October 10.
Here are some of the standout items from this year's Christmas menu.
Butter and dark spiced rum mince pies
Asda launched its butter and dark spiced rum mince pies on September 25 and shoppers can nab a six-pack for £2.35.

The sweet treat combines brown butter with Jamaica rum spiced vine fruits and citrus peel mincemeat, topped with a sugary dusting.
The mince pies are produced by a family-run bakery based in Cumbria and established in 1946.
Parmesan and truffle pigs in blankets
Anyone who fancies a twist on a classic flavour will be keen on these bangers.
The parmesan and truffle pigs in blankets will be available to buy on December 14 at a £4 price point.
The six-pack combines British pork sausages, seasoned with fragrant black summer truffle and parmesan cheese.
Each banger is then hand wrapped in dry cured oak smoked bacon.
Porchetta
Asda's porchetta combines a boneless pork piece with fennel, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and lemon zest.
And to top it all off it's coated in a delicious crispy crackling.
Customers will be able to pick up the centrepiece from December 19 at a cost of £9 per kilo.
Pieces will range in weight from 2 to 2.8kg.
Chocolate and orange panettone
This twist on a classic Christmas pudding combines sweet bread with Belgian milk chocolate chunks, candied orange peel and butter.
For extra indulgence, the panettone has been injected with a chocolate and orange sauce, then topped with dark chocolate and milk and dark chocolate flakes.
Shoppers will be able to pick up the pud for £6 from October 2.
