Lucozade fans are going wild for favourite flavour back on shelves after disappearing from supermarkets

LUCOZADE fans have been left literally buzzing after spotting a favourite flavour that disappeared from supermarket shelves.

The fizzy drink company's popular Caribbean Crush was temporarily pulled last December following issues with its bottle supplier.

But it is now back in stock at Tesco, with other retailers set to follow.

And some have already spotted it in their local Tesco branch.

The posted a photo of the Caribbean Crush four-pack in one branch just days ago.

The post has received almost 5,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans keen to snap the drink up.

One person joked: "We are gonna need a separate fridge just for this," while a second added: "Love this stuff miss it."

Meanwhile, a third fan said: "I been waiting months for this was very upset when I read it was being discontinued.

"I've stocked up well."

A Lucozade spokesperson confirmed the Caribbean Crush flavour is back in stock and available nationwide.

They added: "Caribbean Crush is already available in many independent stores and our multipacks and large bottles are rolling out across Tesco now with other major supermarkets to follow very soon."

It comes after a number of other flavours were pulled from shelves following bottling issues last December.

Apple, Cherry, Coconut and Mango were among some of the flavours impacted.

Lemon, Lime, Pink Lemonade and Tropical also disappeared, while Citrus Chill and Raspberry Ripple were also affected.

However, both the Apple Blast and Wild Cherry flavours were back on shelves by April this year.

Of course, some of the flavours may still be found in your local shops and newsagents.

It's not the first shortage to hit supermarket shelves in recent months.

Shoppers were hit by a Walkers crisp shortage due to an IT glitch in July last year.

More recently, shelves were bare of eggs following an outbreak of avian flu.
