Facebook group Food Finds UK posts food items no longer available to famished revellers, and has reminded followers fans of the salivating

The chewy baked treats were previously sold in supermarkets across the UK but mysteriously vanished from shelves, much to the dismay of sweet-toothed shoppers.

Users congregated in the comments section to pay tribute to the axed "top tier" cookies.

One said: "My mum use to get these when I was younger from Morrisons bakery, they slapped!"

"These were discontinued by both Tesco and Asda back in like 2016 or 2017," a second weighed in.

"I was addicted."

A third user assured fans they can get their fix elsewhere.

"I always go for the Subway rainbow ones since I can't get these," they said.

It comes after another household name announced it had discontinued one fiercely popular item.

Nestle has axed the beloved Carnation Extra Thick Cream and shoppers say the move has "ruined family desserts".

Elsewhere, people are only just realising a discontinued 90s fan favourite is back on Asda shelves.

Muller has delighted shoppers by bringing back its much-loved Mississippi Mud Pie Corner flavour.
