Is Wilko closing? Full list of stores shutting for good
WILKO stores will soon become a distant memory on the British high street after more than 90 years.
The beloved retailer tumbled into administration in August before a flurry of potential buyers expressed an interest.
But sadly, a buyer for the whole business couldn't be found and it has since been announced all 400 shops will close by October.
It will see thousands of Wilko employees made redundant.
Administrators have agreed the sale of the retailer’s brand name and website to The Range, so the name will live on elsewhere.
The closure dates for all remaining stores have now been confirmed.

In September, PwC confirmed they had agreed the sale of the retailer’s brand name to The Range in a £5million deal.
The deal will see the Wilko website reopen in October after all shops shut for good, and the brand name will also live on.
As part of the agreement, which also includes Wilko's intellectual property, 36 jobs have been saved as the employees transfer over to the discounter.
In September, Poundland swooped in to snap up 71 Wilko stores and said former workers would be first in line for new jobs.

The discount chain said that it will rebrand the stores and have them ready for Christmas trading.
Administrators have already agreed to a roughly £13million deal to sell up to 51 Wilko stores to rival B&M.
Each of the 122 stores bought by the discount chains will be rebranded under their new owner's name.
Below we reveal the full list of stores and their closure dates.
