How to make McDonald’s Lotus Biscoff McFlurry at home for a fraction of the price and other delicious threats
THE Lotus Biscoff McFlurry lands in McDonald’s today.
The regular size will set you back £1.99, but why not make a version at home for a fraction of the price?
Here, we show you how.
And check out these other Biscoff-based copies.
SUPER DUPE: You will need a biscuit spread to make your McFlurry.
Get a 200g jar of Lotus Biscoff for £1.50 at Poundshop.com.
Or try Aldi’s dupe, Belmont Biscuit Spread, £1.99 for 400g.
Vanilla ice cream is also needed.
Aldi’s two-litre Gianni, £1.69, is good value.
Then you just need a little whole milk.

Blitz or mix the ice cream for a few seconds with a dash of the milk to give it the soft texture of a McFlurry.
Then put it in a cold or frozen bowl and swirl through a tablespoon of the biscuit spread.
You will get about eight two-scoop servings from the tub of ice cream and at least the same amount from the jar of Biscoff spread.
If you already have milk in the fridge, this recipe works out at £3.19 for eight servings, based on you getting the spread at Poundland.
That is 39p each, saving £1.60 on McDonald’s version.
THANKS A LATTE: You are likely to have spread left over if you buy a jar or two for the McFlurry recipe — and a Biscoff iced latte is one way of using it up.
For a single serving, add a couple of spoonfuls of spread to 240ml of milk and warm in a saucepan until dissolved.
Make a shot of espresso-strength coffee and pour into a tall glass of ice and add the warm milk mixture.
BISCOFF DOUGHNUTS: Take your doughnuts to the next level.
Microwave some of the spread in a suitable bowl for around ten seconds.
Then dip your doughnuts in the mixture, or wait for it to cool a little if the consistency is too runny.
Try decorating further with crumbled Biscoff biscuits.
