The ‘luckiest place in the UK’ revealed as area you are most likely to win Postcode Lottery – where does YOUR town rank?
THE UK's "luckiest" place, where you are most likely to win the lottery has been revealed - but where does your area rank?
The People's Postcode Lottery, which began in 2005, gives out a cool million pounds to Brits every week, based entirely on where they live.
Now, a study of past winners has found that residents of the Outer Hebrides are most likely to rake in the mega jackpot.
Only 15 of the region's 50 islands are inhabited, such as Barra and Benbecula.
The study found that there were 13 wins for every 10,000 people living there.
For comparison, in London that number was just two in 10,000.
