Full list of lesser-known loyalty schemes that can get you free food, coffee and petrol
ARE you missing out by not redeeming your loyalty scheme reward points?
Here, we reveal the great schemes that can get you free food, petrol and other goodies.
FUEL
IT’S a good idea to sign up to all the major petrol stations’ loyalty schemes, as you probably fill up with different brands depending on convenience.
But first, find the petrol station offering the lowest fuel prices, that’s not too far off your route, by searching on petrolprices.com or downloading the app.
Then, if you’ve downloaded the app for that chain, see any rewards you earn as an extra perk.
When you fill up at Esso you can earn Nectar points – the same scheme used by Sainsbury’s, Argos and Habitat.

Shell, BP and Texaco all have their own schemes too.
You won’t earn loads but it’s worth joining them all if you drive a lot.
FOOD
NANDO’S: Spend at least £21 to earn a reward worth up to £5
DOWNLOAD the Nando's digital loyalty card and every time you spend at least £7 on food, you’ll earn one chilli – which is like the digital version of a stamp on a reward card.

When you have collected three chillies, by spending at least £21, you can unlock a green reward, which is a starter or a quarter chicken worth £3 to £5.
With six chillies (£42 spend), you get an orange reward, like a burger or half chicken worth around £7 to £8.
For ten chillies (£70 spend), unlock a red reward of a whole chicken or a meal combo worth up to £15.
Use your rewards within a year or they’ll expire. Author and blogger, Coupon Kid Jordon Cox, says: “I’m a fan of this scheme.
“It’s pretty generous, as you earn rewards at each stage.
“So if you spend the minimum amount to earn your chillies, you could end up getting rewards worth £29.20 by spending £70 – a return of almost 42 per cent.”
GREGGS: Buy nine items get the 10th free
DOWNLOAD the Greggs app and straight away you will get a free hot drink.
After that, each item you buy earns you a “stamp” in that category, whether it’s breakfast, a hot drink, bake, sandwich or sweet pastry.
Buy multiple items in one go – for example, a sausage roll, sandwich and a coffee – and you’ll earn one stamp for each category.
Once you have nine stamps in a single category, your next purchase is free.
But watch out, as you only have 31 days once you’ve earned a reward to claim it. You also get a free sweet treat on your birthday.
MOBILE AND BROADBAND
DON’T miss out on rewards from your mobile or broadband provider.
Virgin Media and O2 customers can download the O2 Priority app to get a free coffee once a week at Greggs, and a breakfast roll, pizza slice or sausage roll on a Friday or Saturday.
Plus, you’ll get two free drinks every Thursday (5pm-8pm) at certain pub chains including O’Neills and All Bar One.
VeryMe Rewards for Vodafone customers features weekly offers which sometimes include free coffees.
Alternatively, Airtime Rewards allows mobile customers with EE, O2, Three, Giffgaff or Vodafone to earn money off their bill every time they spend with certain retailers.
Mum-of-three Jess Warner, from Brighton, has joined the Airtime Rewards scheme.
Jess, 38, an online content creator, says: “I made £7 back in my first week and I’m expecting to generate about £180 a year in money off my EE mobile bills.
“It’s such an easy way to save cash without any fuss.”
HOME

YOU do not have to shell out first, so if you live near an Ikea it’s a win-win as you can pick up free hot drinks for the whole family, Monday-Friday.
