McDonald’s is AXING popular items from menus from tomorrow – is your favourite disappearing?

MCDONALD'S is axing some popular menu items from tomorrow and fans will be gutted.

The fast-food giant has revealed that two of its limited edition dipping sauces will be disappearing from its offering on Wednesday.

Both the Mega Hot Sauce and the Garlic Mayo dips will be removed after just three weeks on UK menus.

They hit menus earlier this month as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for McNuggets and were only ever going to be around for a short time.

Maccies fans have taken to social media in recent weeks begging the chain to keep the sauces as permanent fixtures.

One wrote: "Hey McDonalds UK please keep the mega hot sauce as a permanent option. It’s soo good."

Another said: "Mcds gotta keep both the garlic mayo and mega hot sauce on the menu."

A third Tweeted: "Please never remove the mega hot sauce, it's perfect spice for a Maccas."

And a fourth said: "You need to make garlic mayo permanent and bottled! It’s the GOAT of dips.

"I will even go as far as saying better than curry dip. Please make my dream come true."

It's not all bad news though as diners will be able to give brand new dips a try from tomorrow too.

The fast food chain is launching two new flavours of dipping sauces on Wednesday.

Maccies will be introducing its chipotle mayo and creamy ranch dips - but again they'll only be around for a limited time so you'll have to be quick.

Fans are definitely excited to give them a go, with one Twitter user saying "looking forward to some nugs with chipotle soon, for real".

While another said: "My dreams have been answered."

Meanwhile, the other new menu items, including the Spicy Big Tasty, halloumi fries and Wispa McFlurry will be coming off the menu on June 20.

The items were only ever meant to stick around for a limited period as part of the regular McDonald's menu shakeup.

It means that more new or returning items will likely hit menus, so keep your eyes peeled and we'll update you as soon as we know more.
