McDonald’s is making a major change to menus within DAYS – and fans are delighted

MCDONALD'S is making a major change to its menus within days - and fans are delighted.

The fast food giant is launch to two new flavours of dipping sauces on Tuesday, May 31.

It comes just a couple of weeks after the chain added the brand new mega hot sauce and garlic mayo dips to its menu.

Along with these dips, McDonald's also introduced the Spicy Big Tasty and halloumi fries.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement at trying the new chipotle mayo and creamy ranch dips.

One Twitter user said: "Looking forward to some nugs with chipotle soon, for real."

While another wrote: "My dreams have been answered."

And a third added: "I will deffo be trying them."

But the new dips won't be around forever, and you only have until a limited time give them a try.

We've asked McDonald's if the garlic mayo and mega hot sauce dips will stay on the menu when the new ones are added.

Meanwhile, the other new menu items, including the Big Tasty, halloumi fries and Wispa McFlurry will be coming off the menu on June 20.

In our taste test, we gave the new mega hot sauce a rating of five our of five because of its delicious kick.

The garlic mayo also scored pretty highly, getting a 4.5 for its creamy texture.

Below is the full list of items McDonald's added to its menu earlier this month:

  • Garlic Mayo dip
  • Mega Hot Sauce dip
  • Spicy Big Tasty - £6.29 on its own, or £7.79 for an extra value meal
  • Big Tasty - £5.99 on its own, or £6.99 for an extra value meal
  • Big Tasty with bacon - £6.29 on its own, or £7.79 for an extra value meal
  • Halloumi fries - £2.69, or £6.99 for a Sharebox
  • Wispa McFlurry - £1.99, £1.49 for a Mini
  • Wispa Gold McFlurry - £1.99, £1.49 for a Mini

To make way for the new items, five items were axed from the menu.

Here's the full list of what came off:

  • Chicken Big Mac
  • Steakhouse Stack
  • Mozzarella Dippers
  • Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry
  • Cadbury Caramel Egg McFlurry

The items were only ever meant to stick around for a limited period as part of the regular McDonald's menu shakeup.
