LIVING HELL

Our dream homes have become a newbuild nightmare thanks to yobs ruining our lives – we want them gone NOW

LNEIGHBOURS say living in their dream homes has become a nightmare as yobs are ruining their lives.

Homeowners on an estate in Solihull, West Mids, claim they're plagued by gangs smoking "weed constantly" and kids racing up and down on motorbikes.

Located next to a former GP surgery, residents told how groups of youngsters break into the derelict building and do "drugs in there".

The site has had to be boarded up due to multiple windows smashed and a hole in the fence from those wanting to abuse the space.

And with cops being called in to search "bushes and woodland for a weapon" just last week, some are considering quitting the area.

Emma, who lives in a new build told : "You can smell weed constantly.

"Kids race up and down on motorbikes and do the wheel things in the car park.

"There are no positives around here. It’s like a nightmare."

Ben McNamara, who has called the area home since the 1950s, has grown fed-up of the daily antics and just wants a peaceful life.

The pensioner said: "The trouble is the people that [drive up and down] don't live in the area.

"You can hear them speeding at night. It's a wonder there hasn't been an accident."

One neighbour, who lives opposite the old doctors, said he wants to move his family somewhere quieter after only being there for four years.

West Midlands Police said they were called in after reports of vandalism at the site last week.

A spokesperson for the force said: "There were reports of criminal damage.

"No one was found at the property and the owner was alerted so improvements could be made to fencing to prevent access."

It comes after residents in Yorkshire told The Sun Online they are at their wits' end over alleged late-night partying in a luxury Love Island-style villa.

And families in Middlesbrough are forced to live in fear as they claim balaclava-clad thugs terrorise them by lobbing bricks at their homes.

One local was even left with brain damage.
