Over 70% of Londoners said they would be open to relocating given the high living costs.
Work related factors that would drive people to move included a higher salary or pay rise.
The research found that 18-34 year olds had a high level of dissatisfaction and that 75% are considering relocation.
Julius Probst, European labour market Economist at Totaljobs said: “Rising living costs are forcing workers to consider just how, and where, they can get the most out of their pay slip.
"This financial pressure, combined with the broader cultural shifts brought on by Covid-19, is resulting in more workers relocating to get the best work-life balance.
"After all, loving where you work is becoming just as important and enjoying what you do for work."
This comes after the UK's happiest place to live was revealed.
