Poundland shoppers rush to buy ‘gorgeous’ iconic perfume dupe for £108 less

POUNDLAND shoppers are rushing to buy a "gorgeous" iconic perfume dupe for £108 less than the original.

Buying perfume can get expensive so its no wonder people are always happy to find of their favourite scent.

An eagle-eyed shopper recently caused a fragrance frenzy when she posted to Facebook a dupe that she bought in Poundland for just £4.

The perfume is called Giverny White Diamond, and could be one for fans of the designer fragrance Carolina Herrera.

The happy shopper took to the Poundland Appreciation Group to share the "gorgeous" fragrant find with others.

She wrote: "Purchased this on a whim today not knowing what dupe it was for.

"Absolutely gorgeous smelling and a bargain for £4.

"May not be long lasting but for a cheap work smellie I'm happy to reapply through the day x."

It has been described as a "musky, fruity fragrance for women" and is part of the retailers popular Giverny range of fragrances, that have previously been compared to designer brands such as Lancome and Dior.

The White Diamond has fans comparing it to the bestselling and much pricier Carolina Herrera Good Girl perfume which can be up to £108.50 more expensive than the Poundland version.

An 80ml bottle is currently on offer with The Perfume Shop and is priced at £92.99.

While in Boots it is even more expensive and is currently priced at £112.5 for an 80ml bottle.

Other perfume lovers were quick to respond to the post with their thoughts on the beauty bargain.

One person said: "I have this and I love it, I am sure its Carolina Herrera Good Girl."

Another person added: "I love it, it smells amazing and lasts ages on me."

And someone else, familiar with the Giverny range commented: "I love the blue one, my daughter has the white one."

Poundland is not the only retailer to have fragrance fans running to the shelves for cheaper versions of their favourite scent.

Superdrug shoppers have also been rushing to buy a £4 dupe for an iconic designer perfume that's worth £100.
