I won EuroMillions aged 17…I splashed a lot of my cash until someone gave me really important advice

A WOMAN who won EuroMillions at the age of 17 said she splashed a lot of her cash - until someone gave her a piece of advice.

Jane Park, 27, from Edinburgh, revealed that she still hasn't spent all of her £1million prize nine years after scooping the EuroMillions jackpot in 2013.

Speaking on Dr Phil, she said: "I splashed out a bit because I never knew the value of a million pounds.

"I had never seen that kind of money and I never knew anyone with that kind of money."

Jane forked out for two Brazilian butt lifts - the first of which left her "nearly dead" from sepsis.

She reportedly spent £500,000 on other cosmetic procedures including a boob job, liposuction, botox, lip fillers and dental veneers.

Among her other purchases were a chihuahua called Princess, designer bags, a £25,000 BMW, a £17,000 VW Beetle, a £18,000 purple Range Rover and a Rolex watch for her boyfriend.

But Jane's reckless splurge came to an abrupt halt when someone gave her much-needed advice.

She said: "I kind of splashed a bit on stuff that I always wanted - and then one of my aunts stepped in and was, like, 'You should invest some now in property and stop going on holiday'.

"I think there is, like it's a very dark, twisted fairy tale and I think no one actually warns you of it - especially younger people. I was 17."

But Jane added that the only thing she regrets about her win is going public - and the vile abuse that brought with it.

She said: "I don't regret any of the money that I've spent. My only regret would be going so public.

"I have not even spent all of the money and they seem to think they know more about my life.

"It's hard because when I was younger I read the comments and it affected me and these people have never met me and they've probably never even seen me."

It comes after another EuroMillions winner revealed how he finds his new lifestyle of mansions and supercars boring.

And a lottery winner from a council estate won a £10million jackpot before losing it all in tragic circumstances.
