The changes are hitting Maccies menus from Wednesday (May 10), with further additions coming at the end of the month.

New items include the popular Big Tasty - but with a spicy twist.

The Spicy Big Tasty comes with a 100% beef patty, made with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the classic Big Tasty sauce with a jalapeno taste.

For all the purists out there though you can still pick up the original burger too.

Wednesday will also see the introduction of two dips, never seen before on UK menus.

Fans will be able to give their McNuggets a fiery kick with the Mega Hot Sauce dip.

Plus, McDonald’s is finally releasing a Garlic Mayo dip much to the delight of nuggets fans - it has a slightly tangy yet rich taste.

Next week will also see the return of the chain's halloumi fries for the second year in a row - you can get a pack of four cheese sticks coated in a light batter, served with a rich tomato dip.

Or you could also pick up a Sharebox too.

Plus, the popular Wispa McFlurry will be perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

It's made up of soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Wispa chocolate pieces and a chocolate sauce.

If you fancy something a little different, you could also try the Wispa Gold version which comes with caramel sauce instead.

But, they won't be around forever so you'll have to be quick if you want to give them a go.

And, the dips will only be around as long as stocks last.

Here is the full list of items and their prices hitting menus on May 10:

To make way for the new items, five items are being axed from next week too.

Here's the full list of what's coming off:

  • Chicken Big Mac
  • Steakhouse Stack
  • Mozzarella Dippers
  • Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry

The items were only ever meant to stick around for a limited period as part of the regular McDonald's menu shakeup.

Items are often swapped for brand new ones, but McDonald's also regularly brings back familiar faves - and it's usually a win for fans.

So if you are yet to get your hands on any of the above items then you'd better be quick.

We gave the latest menu a taste test and rated the items out of five.

How can I save on my McDonald's order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald's.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants - so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you've got the My McDonald's app - it's free to download and you'll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you'll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.

All you'll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

How do I find my nearest McDonald's?

If you're planning on taking a trip to McDonald's, you'll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one - and check what time it opens.
