A MAN who has lived in a converted lorry for 30 years only spends £25 per week.
Mike Leaver, 70, lives a simple life in the seaside town of Porthmadog, Wales.
The retired handyman has no electricity, central heating or mains water in his home.
Mike says he has an aversion to anything to do with computers, phones or technology - but does have a small laptop he uses to write novels.
Surviving on less than £120 a month, Mike burns scrap wood to heat his humble abode and warms up his shower water on gas rings.
He's now hoping he can persuade others to live the way he does.

He added: "I hope to persuade others to pursue this path to happiness, especially in these harsh economic, social, and environmental times."
His lorry is near to walking trails for Snowdonia, the coastline and is on the seafront.
Mike said the area is so friendly he wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
