Aldi shoppers flock to buy bargain air fryer that’s £100 cheaper than Ninja
AIR fryers are all the rage as households look to cut back on their energy bills - and Aldi shoppers have been keen on one in particular.
The German discounter is selling a giant 5litre Ambiano model for £49.99.
The Aldi Specialbuy is £100 cheaper than popular Ninja brand one which will set you back £149.99 for a similar size one.
The bargain air fryer has proven so popular it's already sold out online and you'll have to head in store to get it on March 16.
So if you're looking to get hold of one you will have to wait a few days to head out to your nearest Aldi branch.
If you don't know where yours is, you can use the store locator on Aldi's website.

The Ambiano 5litre model comes with a three-year warranty and 12 present programmes.
Plus, it's big enough to cook a meal for four people.
It is 1500 watt power, which means it will cost you 51p an hour to run under the current price cap.
That's based on the current price of a kilowatt, or 1,000 watts, costing 34p an hour.

Of course, it's always worth shopping around when buying an air fryer as you might be able to get the same model cheaper.
You can use comparison websites like pricespy.co.uk or type the model you are looking for into Google, hit the "shopping" tab and then browse through all the options.
We looked online to see if any other retailers are selling the Ambiano 5litre model cheaper than £49.99 but couldn't find any stocking the same fryer.
However, B&Q is selling a 4.5litre Livingandhome model for £44 with free delivery and a six-month guarantee.
It's slightly less powerful than the Ambiano, with a 1400 wattage, but if you are not fussed about that you could save yourself nearly £6.
Meanwhile, Amazon UK is selling a 5litre Tukailai model for £49.99, although delivery is £9.99.
Are air fryers cheaper than using an oven?
Shoppers have been flocking to buy air fryers since the cost of energy went up as they have been seen as a cheaper alternative.
But are they actually?
Whether you can save money will be based on the wattage of your air fryer compared to the oven, and how long you use both for.
According to Uswitch, the average electric oven uses around two kilowatts of electricity per hour on a medium to high heat.
That means if you used it for an hour it would cost 68p.
In comparison, the Ambiano air fryer uses 1.5kilowatts of electricity an hour, 51p.
So, theoretically it would be cheaper to use the air fryer compared to the average electric oven.
But because the air fryer is less powerful, it might take less time to cook it in there compared to an oven.
Plus, your oven is likely to be bigger than most air fryers and better for cooking larger meals.
