Which Iceland stores are closing down?
ICELAND is popular among customers looking to shop for less, but you may want to check if your local is set to close for good.
The supermarket closed nearly two dozen stores in 2023 and there are more due to shut - here's a round-up of locations.
Despite the closures, Iceland still runs around 500 branches and 153 Food Warehouse stores in the UK.
Which Iceland stores are closing?
Iceland closed 19 branches across the UK last year.
More have shut in 2024 and others have been earmarked for closure.
Iceland brought the shutters down on its store in the Rosemary Centre, Mansfield in January.

The store closed at 4pm on Saturday, January 13.
A location in in Rugby Central Shopping Centre will shut for good on February 24.
Iceland has also announced that it will close its Southampton store in March.
The supermarket, located on Portswood Road, will close for the final time on Saturday, March 2.

- Fratton - August 26
- Llanelli - September 2
- Crewe - September 16
- Grange Road, Birkenhead - September 16
- Trinity Road, Huddersfield - October 28
- Fulford Road branch in York - October 28
Will there be more closures?
It's not clear whether more branches will follow suit later in the year.
Typically, though, Iceland opens more than 20 new stores each year, with 24 new stores opened in the past year.
