Fight through winter with healthy savings on vitamins and minerals
GIVE your body the vitamins and minerals it needs to stay fighting fit through winter.
Most nutrients can be found through a balanced diet but if you need a boost, supplements may be able to help.
Here are the best vitamin deals to help you feel your best for less.
VITAMIN D: The so-called sunshine vitamin keeps bones, teeth and muscles healthy. Most of us get enough vitamin D through sunlight in spring and summer. But during autumn and winter, the NHS recommends a daily supplement.
A pack of Tesco Health high-strength vitamin D is £2.50 for 120 tablets. And the store currently has two for three on select vitamins or supplements for Clubcard holders.
Lloyds Phamacy’s immunity complex contains both vitamin C and D. A pot of 150 tablets is down from £3.50 to £1.50.

ALL ROUNDERS: Many people like supplements that pack in a wide variety of vitamins and minerals.
Holland & Barrett recently launched a value range, which costs £1.50 a pot and includes multivitamin tablets.
Another option is an effervescent multivitamin tablet drink. A 15-pack of Berocca mixed berries tablets is now on offer for £4, was £4.75, at Morrisons.
Phizz tablets contain vitamins and electrolytes and Clubcard customers at Tesco can get a pack of 20, which is usually £8, for £4.75. Or Holland & Barrett’s multivitamin effervescent 20-tablet pack is £1.99.

CHILD’S PLAY: Kids aged six months to five years should take daily vitamin supplements containing A, C and D, according to the NHS.
It’s easier to give little ones gummy vitamin tablets they can chew. Boots Kids daily health multivitamins with Omega 3 are £5.50 for a pack of 30 – and are part of a three for two offer on selected vitamins and supplements.
