Inside abandoned four-bedroom townhouse ‘from set of Jumanji’ – and it could be yours for just £150,000
AN abandoned townhouse which looks like it was part of the set for Jumanji could be yours for the bargain price of £150,000.
From the outside, the historic flat in Maryhill, Glasgow, looks typical of the Victorian sandstone architecture across the city.
But walking inside, it's clear the property has seen better days with the roof caving in and nature reclaiming every level.
Some rooms have been completely gutted after suffering fire damage and vandalism over the years.
Other photos show debris scattered across the floor, weeds dangling from the open roof and abandoned materials intended for a refurbishment.
The doorways not only have old exposed brickwork but appear to have taken a bashing with a hammer, with jagged edges.

Auction House Scotland has dubbed the property "a space Jumanji would be proud of” – thanks to its overgrown garden and run-down aesthetic.
Previous planning approval was granted to transform the property, creating four bedrooms and an underground car park but the application fell through – leaving the building empty and neglected.
But now an opportunity for the mother of all renovations has presented itself, with the property heading for auction for £150,000.
Located in the heart of the city and just over an hour's ride to the capital, the townhouse could offer the perfect haven for students, families or young professionals.
