I won £1.5million on the lottery – I had a strategy that helped me win but I still thought it was a prank
A LUCKY lottery winner scooped a whopping £1.5million using the same number combination she's used for years.
Nancy Gardner had used the same exact number combination for years until she struck gold this October.
Nancy, from Ontario, Canada, was so shocked at the news that she thought someone was playing a prank on her.
She said: "I checked the winning numbers on OLG.ca and thought OLG was playing a prank on me – I was shaking.
"I couldn't believe it!"
Gardner said the shock of her lucrative win didn't hit her until she shared the news with her friends and family.

She said: "My niece was crying when I told her."
Gardner plans to invest her millions into a new home in Toronto, and use the money to help her relatives.
It comes after a lottery player in Maryland scooped up £20,000 after her winning numbers came to her sister in a dream.
The winner, of Cockeysville, also plays the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games and admitted her dreams inspire the numbers that she selects.

She told : “I saw nothing in Pick 3 and Pick 4 tickets, but when I checked the Pick 5 it was straight across. I couldn’t believe it.”
Earlier this month a North Carolina teenager won £800,000 two weeks after his grandfather claimed he would.
Dalton said he plans to save most of his winnings, but will probably get himself a new vehicle first.
He added: “I think I’ll buy a brand-new [Chevrolet] Silverado.”
